United Nation urged to help defuse line of control issue b/w pakistan & india tention

UNITED NATIONS:

Pakistan’s UN Ambassador Masood Khan urged the United Nations to play its role in deescalating the situation along the Line of Control (LoC) in the disputed region of Kashmir  and the working boundary between India and Pakistan when he met Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Friday.

The meeting was a follow-up to the letter sent on October 12 by the Prime Minister’s Adviser on National Security and Foreign affairs, Sartaj Aziz, in which the secretarygeneral’s attention was drawn to the escalation of Indian firing across the Line of Control and the working boundary between the two South Asian neighbours, and sought UN’a intervention.
During the meeting, the Pakistani envoy also underlined the need for resolving all outstanding disputes, especially Jammu and Kashmir, though peaceful means, dialogue and diplomacy. But for that to happen, Masood Khan said tranquillity must be restored along the Line of Control and the working boundary.
Last week, the secretarygeneral issued a statement voicing his concern about the situation, and deplored the loss of lives and the displacement of civilians on both sides. He also encouraged India and Pakistan to resolve all differences through dialogue.

Actually now a days there are a very serious issue have been done between pakistan and india on the issue of line of line of control.

The world's country know that both country were enemy one of them in past it is very necessary that the united nation play their vital role to make a dialogue b/w those country as soon as possible.
